David N. Braun

Exploring and documenting the natural world is what motivates me as a photographer.  Whether I am traveling by foot, skis, or bike, being outside with a camera in hand is always where I feel most at home. As a transplant from the northeast, I am endlessly fascinated by the diverse western landscape: its mountains, rainforests, deserts, and rugged coastline. Naturally, that fascination has led to a dedicated pursuit of nature, landscape, and adventure sports photography.
Being open to a variety of freelance work and not being afraid to work outside of my comfort zone has provided me with a wide range of photography and videography experience.  Current and past clients include travel and tourism agencies, sustainable natural resource companies, NGOs, state governments, and various action sports companies.
